Section Happenings Newsletter
edited by George Tranos N2GA
NLI Section Manager

October 2002

Welcome!  This is the October edition of the NY City / Long Island
"ehappenings" Section newsletter!  This newsletter is here to serve
the Amateur Radio community in our area.  I welcome and
encourage all submissions.  Please help make this your newsletter!

I especially encourage officers of the area's Amateur Radio clubs to
submit their meeting announcements, guest speakers and special
events. Please submit any information for the November issue prior
to the end of October.

QST Section News

The QST Section News column for December 2002 is due on Oct.
12.  If you or your club has anything which you feel is of interest to
the other members in the section, please contact me before Oct. 12.
As stated in my previous bulletin, the Section News column in QST
will be discontinued in January 2003, so December is the last issue
in which printed section news will be included.  Each section now
has a site on the world-wide-web to replicate section news.  See the
NLI site at: http://www.arrl.org/sections/?sect=NLI
